Yesterday, June 15, Governor DeSantis signed the Soil & Water Conservation Districts (SWCD) bill, 1078, into law.
Under the new law:
- All SWCD seats are up for election in 2022;
- All SWCD candidates, even those who have qualified for seats that were previously on the ballot, must submit a new qualifying item before noon on Friday June 17, 2022; and
- All SWCD races will appear on the General Ballots, and not the Primary.

This form must be submitted to the Elections Office by the end of the Candidate Qualifying period at noon tomorrow, Friday, June 17, 2022.
