Supervisor of Elections Office Sends Out Overseas Military and Overseas Civilian Mail Ballots for the Presidential Preference Primary Election

A total of 1,994 ballots have been issued to-date for the March 17th Election

Viera, FL – January 31, 2020 – Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announced 1,994 mail ballots were sent out today to both overseas military and overseas civilian voters for the March 17th Presidential Preference Primary Election. As permitted by the Military and Overseas Voters Empowerment Act, those ballots may be mailed or emailed per the voter’s request.

"It is important for service members, their families, and our overseas voters to be able to cast their ballot, regardless of their location," said Supervisor Lori Scott. "In addition to the mail ballots sent overseas, my office is also scheduled to mail an additional 82,352 domestic mail ballots on February 13th."

Voters wishing to track their ballot or confirm they have requested a Mail Ballot can visit www.VoteBrevard.com and select the “My Registration / Mail Ballot Status” at the top of the home page. Voters can also call the Mail Ballot Department directly at 321-633-2127.

The last day for a voter to request a mail ballot be mailed to them is Saturday, March 7, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. Mail ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Overseas voters have an additional 10 days to return their ballot, but it must be postmarked by Election Day.
