Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic Extends Statutory Deadlines as a Result of Emergency Order 22-02
Deadlines to submit cure affidavits for vote-by-mail/provisional ballots and to present evidence for eligibility for provisional ballots extended


Melbourne, FL – Nov. 10, 2022 – In response to Emergency Order 22-02 (Emergency Management/Elections – Tropical Storm Nicole) suspending deadlines for counties due to Tropical Storm/Hurricane Nicole, Supervisor Tim Bobanic has extended the deadlines to submit cure affidavits for vote-by-mail/provisional ballots and to present evidence of eligibility for provisional ballots until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Voters have until 5:00 p.m. on November 12th to submit their Mail Ballot Signature Affidavit Form and a copy of their identification. Voters can submit their information as follows:

Drop-off in person: Election Support Center located at 525 John Rodes Blvd. in Melbourne on Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

For provisional ballot voters, voters have until 5:00 p.m. on November 12th to provide evidence of their eligibility to vote and/or submit their Provisional Ballot Signature Affidavit Form and a copy of their identification. Voters can submit their information as follows:

The Canvassing Board meeting to review uncured mail and provisional ballots has been rescheduled for Sunday, November 13th at 9:00 a.m. Updates to the legal notice for the November 8, 2022, General Election can be found on VoteBrevard.gov under the News and Notices tab.

The four administrative offices will be closed on Friday, November 11th in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. All offices will reopen on Monday, November 14th at 8:00am. With offices being closed due to Tropical Storm Nicole, please email any inquiries or concerns to SOE@VoteBrevard.gov.
