Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announced 81,135 Mail Ballots (Absentee) were sent today for the upcoming August 26th Primary Election. This is the first mail drop of domestic Primary Ballots. 3,008 Mail Ballots were sent earlier this month to military and overseas civilian voters.

"We have seen a tremendous growth in the number of Brevard voters choosing to Vote by Mail," said Supervisor Scott. "In the 2010 Primary, our first domestic mailing was composed of 35,000 Mail Ballots. We have more than doubled that number in the last four years and we continue to receive requests every day."

The deadline to request to receive a ballot by mail is Wednesday, August 20th at 5:00 p.m. Voters may request their Mail Ballot online at www.VoteBrevard.com or by phone at (321) 633-2127. Ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 26th. Voters are encouraged to track their Mail Ballot online at www.VoteBrevard.com.
