Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announced that Mail/Absentee Ballots were mailed today to Military and Overseas voters for the 2013 Municipal and Special District Election to be held on November 5, 2013 for Indialantic, Melbourne Beach and Barefoot Bay. The Elections Office emailed Mail/Absentee ballots to Military and overseas Civilians who requested to receive their ballot electronically.

“The Military and Overseas Voters Empowerment Act (Move Act) permits Military and Overseas voters to receive their Mail/Absentee ballots via e-mail or fax. I am proud to see Brevard’s Military and Overseas voters utilizing this convenient method of voting,” said Supervisor Scott.

1,964 Mail/Absentee ballots are currently scheduled to be mailed to local voters on October 8, 2013.

Mail/Absentee ballots must be received in the Elections Office by 7:00 pm on November 5, 2013. Voters can track the status of their Mail/Absentee ballot through the Brevard County Elections website at www.VoteBrevard.com.
