Important Notice to Voters

Supervisor of Elections Wants to Alert Brevard Voters of Voter Participation Center/Center for Voter Information Mailings

Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic wants voters to be aware of another mail campaign initiated by the Voter Participation Center (VPC) and the Center for Voter Information (CVI).

The address lists for these mailings are frequently created from outdated and often incorrect data with previous mailings resulting in voter registration applications and/or mail ballot request forms being sent to deceased persons, minor children, and even pets. Mailings have also been sent to voters already registered and/or voters who have already requested a mail ballot, which creates unnecessary confusion and concern.

“These unsolicited mailings can prove to be misleading, so it is important for voters to understand if they receive one it does not mean the status of their voter registration or mail ballot request has changed,” stated Supervisor Bobanic. “Voters are encouraged to keep their registration up-to-date and to verify their information before each election cycle.”

These organizations are not affiliated in any way with the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections office. Voters with questions or concerns regarding these mailings are encouraged to reach out directly to VPC at 877-255-6750 or by visiting voterparticipation.org or the CVI at 866-290-1599 or by visiting centerforvoterinformation.org.

Voter registration status can be verified online or by calling my office at 321-290-VOTE (8683).
