Supervisor of Elections Office Sends Out Military and Overseas Mail Ballots
A total of 3,344 ballots have been issued to-date for the 2018 General Election

Viera, FL – September 21, 2018 – Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announced 3,344 Mail Ballots were issued to military and overseas voters for the General Election. As permitted by the Military and Overseas Voters Empowerment Act, ballots are both mailed and emailed to Military and Overseas voters; of the 3,344 issued ballots, 1,923 were delivered to the USPS and 1,421 ballots were emailed.

“Casting a ballot for military and overseas voters shouldn’t be cumbersome or a burden and my office strives to make the process seamless by educating voters of the options available to them,” stated Supervisor Scott. “Additionally, I am very excited to share that for the first time; mail ballot voters can now look forward to receiving their very own I Voted By Mail sticker in their mail ballot packet!”

Currently, 95,652 civilian stateside and 921 military county ballots are currently scheduled to be mailed on October 9, 2018. Voters can request a Mail Ballot or track the status of their ballot through the Supervisor of Elections website at www.VoteBrevard.com or by calling 321-633-2127.

Mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office no later than 7:00 p.m. on November 6, 2018.
