At your precinct, you will be asked to present a current and valid form of identification that includes a photograph and signature, e.g. a Florida Driver License, or two separate forms which together contain this information. Other legal forms of identification include:

  • Florida Driver license

  • Concealed carry weapons license issued pursuant to Florida Statute 790.06
  • Employee identification card issued by any branch, department, agency or entity of the Federal Government, the state, a county or a municipality.

If you do not have proper identification with you, Florida law allows you to vote a Provisional Ballot.

Voters who register by mail and who do not have a Florida Driver license, Florida identification card, or social security number must either provide a copy of their identification along with their registration or must provide identification the first time that they vote, either at the polls or by vote-by-mail ballot.
