Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic Mails Out
Domestic Mail Ballots for the 2022 General Election
Melbourne, FL – Oct. 6, 2022 – Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic announced 139,004 domestic mail ballots were sent to voters who requested them, for the November 8th General Election. This is in addition to the 3,170 mail ballots sent to overseas military and overseas civilian voters.
“Voters are able to track the status of their mail ballot on VoteBrevard.gov under the blue ‘Ballots by Mail’ tab,” said Supervisor Bobanic. “Voters wishing to verify they are on the Mail Ballot Request List may do so by clicking on the ‘Registration Status’ quick link at the top of the VoteBrevard.gov home page. The last day for a voter to request a mail ballot be sent to them for the November 8th General Election is 5:00 p.m., October 29, 2022.”
Due to recent legislation, mail ballot requests will expire at the end of 2022. Starting January 1, 2023, voters will have to renew their request each calendar year if they wish to continue to receive ballots by mail. Requests can be made at VoteBrevard.gov or any of the four Election Administrative Offices.
Secure ballot intake stations (formerly known as drop boxes) are available in the lobby at all four administrative Supervisor of Elections Offices and at all 10 Early Voting sites. Please check VoteBrevard.gov for hours of availability. Mail Ballots must be received in the Supervisor of Elections Offices by 7:00 p.m. on Election Night.
“My office remains the trusted source of election related information and I encourage voters to visit VoteBrevard.gov, call 321-290-VOTE (8683), or follow my verified Facebook and Twitter accounts for election related information,” stated Supervisor Bobanic.
