Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announces that a total of 3,014 Mail Ballots were sent to Military and Overseas voters today for the November 8th Presidential Election. As permitted by law, ballots were both mailed and emailed to Military and Overseas voters.

“Brevard’s voters are increasingly taking advantage of making their mail box their ballot box,” said Supervisor Scott. “Nearly half of the ballots cast in Brevard for the August 30th Primary Election were from Mail Ballot voters.”

Mail Ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office no later than 7:00 pm on November 8, 2016. There is a 10-day extended timeline for Overseas voters to return a Mail Ballot in a Federal Election but the mail ballot envelops must be postmarked no later than Election Day.

Voters can track the status of their Mail Ballot through the Supervisor of Elections website at VoteBrevard.com.
