Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott announced that 1,962 Domestic Mail/Absentee Ballots were mailed to voters today in anticipation of the 2013 Municipal and Special District Election to be held on November 5, 2013. This is in addition to the 42 Ballots that were previously mailed to Military and Overseas voters on September 21st. Voters in the following Municipalities and Special District are eligible to vote in this election: Indialantic, Melbourne Beach and Barefoot Bay.

“Brevard’s voters are increasingly taking advantage of making their mailbox their ballot box.” Approximately 1/3 of voters voted by Mail/Absentee Ballot in the 2012 Presidential Election,” said Supervisor Scott.

Mail/Absentee Ballots must be received in the Elections Office no later than 7:00 pm on November 5, 2013. Voters can track the status of their Mail/Absentee Ballot through the Supervisor of Elections website at www.VoteBrevard.com.
