Federal Voting Assistance Program

Wherever Americans go, FVAP ensures their voice is heard.

The Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) works to ensure Service members, their eligible family members, and overseas citizens are aware of their right to vote and have the tools and resources to successfully do so - from anywhere in the world.

The Federal Post Card Application (FPCA, SF-76) allows eligible U.S. citizens to apply to register to vote, request a mail ballot and/or update their contact information with our office.

You are eligible for FVAP if you are:

  • a member of the Uniformed Services or Merchant Marine on active duty
  • spouse or dependent of a member of the Uniformed Services or Merchant Marine on active duty
  • a U.S. citizen residing outside the U.S.

You can get an FPCA at any military installation and U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide. There is a fillable online form, or you can use their online assistant.

Once completed, do not forget to print and sign the form before submitting it to our office.
First time voters must submit their signed application by mail.

You may submit your application by mail (there is a postage free envelope available), by fax (321-637-5460) or by email ([email protected]).  If you submit by fax or email please include a transmission cover sheet.

Here is other important information about submitting your FPCA in Florida.
