2020 Primary Election Canvassing Board Meetings

The legal notice for the 2020 Primary election has been revised as a result of HB 1005 and the Governor’s executive order No. 20-149. (rev 7.14.20)

PLEASE NOTE: The Supervisor of Elections Office will be processing Mail Ballots on the following dates beginning at 9:00 a.m.:

August 4th – 7th; 10th – 14th; and 17th – 18th.

All Canvassing Board Meetings will be held at the Elections Support Center, 525 N. John Rodes Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32934. Meetings are open to the public, political parties, candidates and press.

NOTE: Persons are advised that if they wish to appeal any decision made at these meetings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, per Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.

This notice, which is pursuant to Florida Statutes 101.5612(2), 101.68(2)(a), 101.5614, 101.5614(4)(a), 101.048, 102.141, 101.591, 286.0105, and 286.26, has been posted on the front door of all Election Offices, on the www.VoteBrevard.gov website and published in the Florida Today Newspaper.
