Recent Florida Driver License/State ID Changes Affecting Voters

Florida recently changed how Driver Licenses and State ID numbers are generated. When renewing, replacing, or updating your Florida Driver License or State ID with the Brevard County Tax Collector, always answer "Yes" to update your voter registration, which will automatically send your new information to our office.

If you renewed your Driver License/State ID since July 31, 2024, your ID number may have changed, and you should contact our office to verify your information is up to date in your voter record.

What you need to know:

• If your Florida Driver License/State ID hasn't changed, you're all set
• If your voter record has not been updated with your new Driver License/State ID, it will not prevent you from voting in person during Early Voting or on Election Day

Update your voter registration quickly and securely:

• Online at VoteBrevard.gov > Register to Vote
• Call the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Office at 321-290-VOTE (8683)
• Visit one of our 4 Supervisor of Elections Offices for assistance
