The Brevard County Supervisor of Elections offices will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day and will re-open on Tuesday, May 26 at 8:00 am.

Governor DeSantis has signed HB 1D into law, which establishes new congressional districts for the state. Brevard County remains congressional district 8 and is not affected by the redistricting maps created by the recent legislation.

Recent Florida Driver License/State ID Changes Affecting Voters

Florida recently changed how Driver Licenses and State ID numbers are generated. When renewing, replacing, or updating your Florida Driver License or State ID with the Brevard County Tax Collector, always answer "Yes" to update your voter registration, which will automatically send your new information to our office.

If you renewed your Driver License/State ID since July 31, 2024, your ID number may have changed, and you should contact our office to verify your information is up to date in your voter record.

What you need to know:

  • If your Florida Driver License/State ID hasn't changed, you're all set
  • If your voter record has not been updated with your new Driver License/State ID, it will not prevent you from voting in person during Early Voting or on Election Day
