The Brevard County Canvassing Board may convene at other times, or cancel meetings, as deemed necessary by the Board.
The Supervisor of Elections Office will be processing Mail Ballots and scanning them into the tabulation & audit systems, as well as duplication, on the dates listed below. Please note: All scanning of Mail Ballots in the tabulation & audit systems is done in advance of conducting the post-election audit.
- July 30th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing
- July 31st at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing August 5th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing August 6th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing
- August 9th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot scanning and duplication (if necessary)
- August 10th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing and scanning August 11th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot scanning
- August 12th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot scanning (if necessary)
- August 13th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing and scanning (if necessary) August 14th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot scanning and duplication (if necessary) August 15th at 9:00 a.m. - Mail Ballot scanning (if necessary)
- August 17th at 9:00 a.m. – Mail Ballot processing, scanning and duplication (if necessary) August 18th at 1:00 p.m. – Mail Ballot processing, scanning and duplication (if necessary)
- Scanning of early voted ballots into the audit system will take place at 9:00 a.m. on August 9th – August 15th and August 17th
- Scanning of election day voted ballots into the audit system will take place at 9:00 a.m. on August 19th – August 20th and August 21st (if necessary)
All Canvassing Board Meetings will be held at the Election Support Center, 525 N. John Rodes Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32934. Meetings are open to the public, political parties, candidates, and press.
NOTE: Persons are advised that if they wish to appeal any decision made at these meetings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, per Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.
