Supervisor of Elections Encourages Community to 'Share Your Christmas'

The Brevard County Supervisor of Elections’ Office will be collecting donations this year for needy families in conjunction with WESH TV\'s “Share Your Christmas” food drive. Supervisor Lori Scott will have collection boxes in the lobby of each of the five Election Offices during the month of November through the first week of December. “My staff and I are honored to have this opportunity. That\'s what community service is all about,” said Supervisor Scott.

The Supervisor of Elections’ Office held a “Vote Against Childhood Hunger” Bake Sale earlier this year that raised $1755.24 to benefit childhood summer food programs.

Nonperishable food items, paper goods, disposable diapers and personal hygiene can be dropped off now through December 4th 2009. Please drop off your charitable donation at one of Supervisor Scott’s five county office locations:
