Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott Donates School Supplies to Benefit Brevard Public Schools

Viera, FL – July 30, 2021 – During July, the four Supervisor of Elections administrative offices in Brevard County served as designated drop-off locations where residents could donate school supplies to benefit disadvantaged students in Brevard public schools.

“Each year, my office has enjoyed partnering with the Brevard Schools Foundation to collect school supplies for low-income students. Considering the challenges many families are facing due to the global pandemic, it is incredibly fulfilling for my staff and I to give back to members of our community who are in need.” said Supervisor Lori Scott.

In the 19th Annual Back-to-School event, Brevard Schools Foundation plans to provide approximately 2,000 new backpacks filled with school supplies to children enrolled in the Free or Reduced Lunch Program. They will also be given hot lunches, books, dental screenings, eye screenings, gift certificates for haircuts, and other benefits.
