For the 5th year, Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott and her staff collected food donations for WESH 2’s Share Your Christmas Food Drive.

"I am humbled by the outpouring of support we receive year after year from our community and fellow county employees," said Supervisor Scott. "Donations continue to grow and this year we were honored to donate over 500 pounds of food to help families in need this holiday season."

Non-perishable food items were collected for three weeks in all four Election Offices throughout the county. The food was then donated during WESH 2\'s donation collection event today at the Viera Government Center. WESH 2 shares the collected donations with the Second Harvest Food Bank who works with over 500 grassroots organizations across Central Florida to distribute the food to needy families.
