Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic Announces Florida Supervisors of Elections Scholarship Opportunity
Melbourne, FL – Feb. 12, 2026 – Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic announces applications for the 2026 Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) Scholarship are being accepted at all four administrative Election Office locations: Titusville, Viera, Melbourne, and Palm Bay.
Eligibility requirements for the FSE Scholarship include being a registered Florida voter who has lived in the state for at least the preceding two years. Students must attend a Florida university or college and have a “C” average or above for the previous year. Applicants must be either a Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Journalism/Mass Communication major and be at least a junior in college.
“This scholarship can serve to support students preparing for careers in public service, business, or journalism and it would be wonderful to have one of the three scholarships awarded, given to a Brevard County student,” stated Tim Bobanic, Supervisor of Elections.
Interested students should visit VoteBrevard.gov to obtain a copy of the FSE Scholarship application and guidelines. Completed applications may be returned by mail to PO Box 410819, Melbourne, FL 32941, or delivered in person to any of the four administrative offices before 5:00 p.m. on March 6, 2026.
