Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic Collects 951 Pounds of Food for WESH 2’s Share Your Christmas Food Drive

Since 2009, the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Office has collected 7,184 pounds of food

Melbourne, FL – Dec. 12, 2025 – Supervisor Tim Bobanic and his staff participated in WESH 2’s Share Your Christmas Food Drive, collecting more than 951 pounds of non-perishable food to benefit Central Florida families in need.

“The Supervisor of Elections office began participating in this initiative in 2009 because we feel everyone should be able to share a meal during the holidays with their loved ones,” stated Tim Bobanic, Supervisor of Elections. “The 7,184 lbs. of donations we have collected during the past 16 years is a humbling reminder of the kindness that runs deep in Brevard.”

The collected donations are shared with the Second Harvest Food Bank, which works with over 550 grassroots organizations across Central Florida to distribute the food to needy families.
